From Denverite: Denver Public Schools will grow students’ salad fixings in a massive new greenhouse

Denverite recently ran an article about the groundbreaking ceremony for the 5-acre greenhouse for DPS Food and Nutrition Services, which will be used to grow produce for school cafeterias and provide student learning opportunities. This project was made possible by bond funds, grants from Healthy Foods for Denver Kids and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
