Bond Oversight Committee Members Needed
We need members to serve on the Bond Oversight Committee. The committee is critical in reviewing and providing accountability on DPS bond spending. The commitment includes monthly, 2-hour meetings and approximately 1 hour a month in meeting preparation.
The application will be open from Nov. 1, 2022, to Nov. 25, 2022. Interviews and the selection process will occur between Dec. 1 – Dec. 14.
The application is now closed.
Purpose: The Denver Public Schools Bond Oversight Committee is a group of community members appointed by the superintendent and school board to monitor and advise the school district in the effective, efficient and appropriate use of general obligation bond funds approved by Denver voters on Nov. 3, 2020.
Public Comment: Each committee meeting will reserve up to 10 minutes at the start for public comment. Speakers are limited to two minutes each and should email Melissa Rosales (firstname.lastname@example.org) 24 hours in advance to be added to the speaker list. If more than five speakers have requested time, later speakers will be scheduled for the following oversight meeting.
